Individual Counselling
Some things are hard to say out loud. Sometimes you don't even have the words yet — only the sense that something isn't right, that you're managing your life without quite living it.
This is a place to bring that.
I work with people carrying trauma, depression, anxiety, burnout, grief, and the kind of struggle that doesn't resolve on its own. Some come with a clear sense of what's wrong. Many come simply knowing that how they've been getting by isn't working anymore. Either way, you don't need to arrive with it figured out.
What I offer isn't a script or a set of techniques applied the same way to everyone. It's a real meeting — where I bring clinical depth and full attention to what's actually happening for you, and we work from there. My approach draws on EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and other evidence-based methods, but the method follows you, not the other way around.
The work can be challenging. Not in a way that threatens you, but in a way that helps you notice what you've been carrying without realizing it — the feelings, the patterns, the things the body knows before the mind does. People often leave a session feeling more themselves, more here, more able to see a way forward.
Men's Counselling
Reaching out for help is not a sign that something is wrong with you. More often, it means you've been handling things on your own for longer than you should have had to.
I work with men across many backgrounds, cultures, and ways of life. Men who are dealing with trauma, including those who have never spoken about what happened to them. Men whose anxiety or low mood gets managed but never really addressed. Men navigating burnout, relationship breakdown, fatherhood, divorce, or the quiet question of what kind of man they want to be.
Many men have spent a long time being useful, capable, and in control — and somewhere along the way lost contact with what they actually feel. Not because the feeling isn't there, but because there was never much room for it. Part of the work is making that room: learning to notice what the body and the heart have been signalling all along, without it costing you your strength or your sense of yourself.
I also work with men exploring their sexuality and identity, in a space where that can be approached safely and without judgment.
I won't simply reflect your words back at you, and I won't ask you to perform a version of vulnerability that isn't yours. The work is steady and grounded — a space that's safe enough to feel, and honest enough to be useful.
When you're ready, reach out.
